Deep down, you don’t like situations where you’re unilaterally at the mercy of an individual who may or may not like you because perhaps you give him an inferiority complex or because guys like you bring back memories of the guy that stole his girlfriend when he was 16, so you avoid them. The situations that is. Because after all you’d rather die than give someone like that absolute control [1].

But deep down, you know that in the bigger scheme of things, you’re never totally in control.

Deep down you know that when someone precious to you gets a disease theres nothing you can do to make them better.

Deep down, you know you’re only in control of about 70% of the things that happen in your life, if that.

Deep down, you know at the end of the day, the best way to deal with shit is with humor and tact and understanding instead of fighting it.
